The OLEV Scheme allows you to get a free £500 grant to cover the installation of a home charging port and up to £10,00 for your business.
Recent Government forecast predicts that there are currently approximately 165,000 plug in cars in the UK and by 2021 there will be 2 million! All these cars will need charging, either in the home, workplace, the gym, hospitals, schools, churches, basically everywhere. We want to help you and your business get involved.
The Government have set up a dedicated department, known as OLEV, which is the Office for Low Emission Vehicles. They forecast and monitor everything to do with low emission vehicles, including electric vehicles. How does this affect you? To encourage use of electric vehicles, they are offering grants of up to £500 per household and up to £500 per charger in the workplace up to 20 can be claimed per customer or £10,000. As an OLEV approved installer, we can claim this grant on the customers behalf.
We’re based in Worthing and can serve clients throughout West Sussex.
To qualify for a residential OLEV grant, you’ll need off-street parking, to install an OLEV approved charging point and installer as well as have a qualifying vehicle. We’ll work with you to take the hassle out of the application process and do what we can to make sure you have the highest chance of approval as possible.
We work with the highest quality charging points from well-known and well-respected brands and manufacturers and our experience means your installation will be stress free.
To qualify for a commercial OLEV grant (also known as a workplace charge scheme), you’ll need to be located in England, Wales, Scotland and Northern Ireland and able to prove the need for an EV Charging point.
We offer a free energy survey and quote for any commercial EV charge point and a free quote for domestic EV charge points. Our quotes are always no obligation and we’re happy to work with both residential and commercial clients to ensure you get the right charging point for you needs.
